Shri M Satyanarayana, Chief Executive Officer, Accessories Complex, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has been appointed as Chairman of Naini Aerospace Limited effective from August 5, 2025.
Earlier, he was nominated as Director on the Board of Naini Aerospace Limited on January 1, 2025. Prior to this, he served as General Manager of HAL’s Accessories Division at Lucknow & Avionics Division at Hyderabad.
He started his career in HAL as XXIV Batch Management Trainee in the year 1989 after completing his B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from D.M.S.S.V.H. College of Engineering, Machilipatnam, Nagarjuna University, India. He further pursued an M.Tech in Aircraft Production Engineering from IIT Madras in 1993.
With over 30 years of experience in avionics and accessories development, Shri M Satyanarayana has worked extensively across Russian, Western, and Indigenous platforms, ranging from legacy fleets to cutting-edge advancements and future technologies.
His significant contributions include capability development for the AESA radar and EW suite of the LCA Mk1A and Jaguar Darin III aircraft, encompassing activities such as implementing Transfer of Technology (ToT) from foreign OEMs and advancing indigenous capabilities in collaboration with DRDO labs. He has played a pivotal role in establishing manufacturing facilities for advanced indigenous avionics systems for LCA, including CIT, LCA-MC, DMG, DAMS, MNS, and iRAM.
In addition to indigenous advancements, he has also been instrumental in the development of manufacturing and repair-overhaul (ROH) facilities for Russian-origin avionics of the Su-30 aircraft, including niche technologies such as Fly-By-Wire (FBW) system.
A strong advocate of IT enablement, he has spearheaded the development of IT tools for efficient monitoring of trade receivables, capital expenditures, GeM procurement, production, and sales.
Currently, Shri M Satyanarayana serves as an Executive Council Member of Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies & Industries (SIATI).
Shri V. Sri Krishna Prasad, General Manager of Aircraft, IJT (Intermediate Jet Trainer) and ASC (Airport Services Centre) Divisions at HAL has been appointed as a Director on Board of NAeL. With over 28 years of experience in the Aerospace and Aeronautical Industry, he has made significant contributions to aircraft manufacturing as well as India’s space programs.
He began his career at HAL in 1996 as a Design Trainee and has since held leadership roles across production, integration, and aerospace program management. He also served as Program Director for the PSLV productionisation contract awarded by New Space India Limited (NSIL) to the HAL–L&T consortium. He has done B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University College of Engineering and M.tech in Design and Manufacturing (Machine Tools) from Regional Engineering College, Warangal
His expertise spans NC programming, methodising, production engineering, launch vehicle structure assembly, propellant tank manufacturing, and complex integration activities. Under his leadership, the Aerospace Division successfully ramped up PSLV structure and tankage production from 2 sets per year to 8 sets per year, while also establishing world-class facilities like the ICMF facility and PS2/GS2 integration facilities.
Shri Prasad is an advocate of operational efficiency, technology in-sourcing, and people-centric leadership, with a keen focus on strengthening industrial relations.
Shri Shailendra Singh Chandel has joined the Board of Naini Aerospace Limited (NAeL) as Director with effect from 18th November 2025. A Post Graduate in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Prayagraj, Shri Chandel brings with him over 28 years of rich experience in Human Resources.
He commenced his professional career with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) on 25th February, 1998, and has since made distinguished contributions across diverse HR verticals. Over the years, he has served in HAL’s Engine Division, Helicopter Division, Foundry and Forge Division, Aircraft Division – Nasik, and Accessories Division – Lucknow. This wide-ranging exposure across multiple units of HAL has endowed him with a holistic understanding of HR practices within complex industrial environments.
With more than a decade of leadership experience, Shri Chandel has successfully steered HR teams, providing strategic direction and operational excellence in people management. He is presently serving as General Manager (HR) at the Accessories Complex, overseeing HR operations across four HAL units located in Lucknow, Kanpur, Korwa, Hyderabad, and Kasaragod. In this role, he continues to exemplify HAL’s commitment to nurturing talent, strengthening organizational capability, and driving sustainable growth.
Sudeep Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer of Naini Aerospace Limited, began his professional journey with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) as a 28th Batch Management Trainee in 2002 after completing his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Institute of Engineering and Technology, MJP Rohilkhand University.
He further pursued an M.Sc. in Engineering and Management of Manufacturing Systems from Cranfield University in 2009.
Shri Sudeep brings more than 24 years of experience across multiple domains in the aerospace sector, including CNC programming, production engineering, outsourcing, and Industrial Materials Management (IMM). During his tenure, he has contributed to several prestigious aircraft and helicopter programs such as the Sukhoi Su-30MKI, Tejas, Dhruv, Light Combat Helicopter, Dornier 228, and HTT-40.
A strong believer of digital transformation and IT enablement in the aviation sector, Shri Sudeep envisions smart, technology-driven systems for efficient planning, monitoring, and control.
